Hamilton Terrace Refurbishment
A complete town house refurbishment including a top end home cinema created by JFL Audio in London’s exclusive Hamilton Terrace, required superior sound isolation to enable the impressive 7.1 system to be used to the full.
The CI specialists called in Acoustiblok regarding possible transference of sound from the cinema room to an adjacent children’s room, family room, kitchen and maid’s quarter, and crucially to the formal living room above.
As a result the cinema was totally lined with 3mm Acoustiblok and now the impressive 7.1 system can be used at the Georgian property without disturbing the rest of the household.
John Luff, JFL Managing director, said:
“We installed high end Denon amplifiers, Keff CI 9,000 Ace speakers and four Crestron systems running independently in this installation, so it was imperative it could be used to the full.”

“Acoustiblok worked perfectly; you cannot hear a sound from the cinema room. I would recommend it with confidence to interior designers and architects for home automation projects requiring sound attenuation.”
