Park Plaza Westminster City Hotel Insulation
Multiple areas insulated to mitigate noise from room to room and also noise ingress from bar and function rooms to all areas and guest bedrooms.
The hotel needed to resolve issues of noise leakage from the very busy bar and function areas as the sound was travelling through the buildings substrate in way of acoustic flanking transmissions to guests bedrooms above.
A large scale program of works was also undertaken to mitigate sound leakage from top floor plant service areas to prevent airborne, structural airborne, impact and vibration noise from travelling through the building into guest bedrooms.
